Heather E. Monk

Licensed Title Agent

Heather E. Monk grew up in Jupiter, Florida and moved to the Panhandle to attend Chipola College in 2005. She graduated with an associate degree majoring in psychology and a minor in Spanish. She continued working towards her bachelor’s degree at Troy University through the Chipola College Campus.

Heather started off her basic knowledge of the Title Industry when she was only 12 years old working for her mother’s law office and title office in Juno Beach, Florida. Her mother is a real estate Attorney who opened a title office alongside her law office in 1987, only a few months after Heather was born. She advanced her knowledge and skills over the years, eventually taking a step back from the law office and focusing primarily on the title company.

In 2018, just before Hurricane Michael, Heather and her family moved to Panama City Beach. Heather has 3 children, her son Zane, and two daughters, Jozalyn and Zaly.

She was scheduled to take her licensing test just over 30 days after Hurricane Michael wiped out the Panhandle area. Due to the devastation that was caused to her mother’s title/law building, she almost canceled her testing appointment. Luckily, she decided to follow through with her commitment and obtained her Florida Title Agent License on November 8, 2018.

Heather is a power partner with the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors and was on the 2017 Leadership Committee. She is also a member of the Marianna Woman’s Club and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

Heather loves to spend time watching her children play sports, reading a good book, relaxing on the beach or spending time at the pool.
